• How to incorporate the Bodenstein number and other critical factors into catalytic fixed bed reactor design and catalyst particle size to avoid wall effects and to create direct scale up from mgs to 100s of grams.

• The utilization of dimensionless numbers to create scale up of compounds without any process optimization using chemistry examples.

• Industry and in-house examples of scale up hydrogenation reactions carried out at up to 150°C and 100 bar. Examples include difficult selective hydrogenations, such as the reduction of a nitro group in the presence of a halide.

• Exploring the potential to utilize the H-Cube Midi™ in the scale up of deuteration reactions without using deuterium gas cylinders.
