ThalesNano is pleased to invite you to its annual Flow Chemistry Seminar and User Group Meeting (FCS-UGM) in Budapest on 21-22 October 2010.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn how to become true experts on ThalesNano flow systems and hear how (other) users have utilized their system to produce excellent results.

Who should attend: Users of ThalesNano technology and individuals interested in learning more about the benefits of flow chemistry.

Topics and activities will include:

Flow ozonolysis
Acceleration of organic reactions utilizing high temperature, high pressure flow reactors.
Scale up from mgs to kilo scale using continuous flow processes
Multistep synthesis

The first day will be focusing on the theoretical then practical understanding of flow chemistry through presentations by e.g. GSK, Sanofi-aventis and Givaudan. Attendees will be taught on many different types of chemistry as well as special tips and tricks. By the end of the day you will be proficient enough to teach any of your colleagues on how to utilize the system at its full potential. While on the second day you can Try Your Own Chemistry on any of the ThalesNano’s instruments.

Attendance to the FCS-UGM is free, with participants only having to pay for their own accommodation and transport.
